    Treatment for small fibre neuropathy

In July 2016 a new study will start using intravenous immunoglobulins for the treatment of pain in patients with small fibre neuropathy. Immunoglobulins are proteins, present in human blood, that are involved in the immune system. These immunoglobulins have been described to influence pain in some very small studies. Patients that are eligible for this study are patients with small fibre neuropathy with no clear underlying cause, living in the Netherlands or Belgium. Our team will approach eligible patients.
